Espanola’s Caroline Ehrhardt is Canada’s triple jump champion

A 24-year-old resident of Espanola has become Canada’s triple jump champion. Caroline Ehrhardt captured the national title with a jump of 12.97 metres in Edmonton. This is the fifth time Ehrhardt has won the title in the last six years.

Ehrhardt will miss the Rio de Janeiro Olympics this summer but believes she’ll be a contender for the 2020 games in Tokyo.
