The Ontario Provincial Police ROPE team has arrested a fourth person in Toronto in connection to a major drug bust in Elliot Lake.
East Algoma OPP Constable Phil Young says on Feb. 6, the OPP executed warrant at a residence in Elliot Lake, seizing an estimated $460,000 of illicit drugs, cash, packaging and drug paraphernalia.
He says three people were initially charged, and last Thursday (Feb. 20), the Repeat Offenders Parole Enforcement team arrested a fourth person and charged him with numerous possession and trafficking charges.
Young says all four were taken into custody to await bail hearings before the courts.
