Work on shoring up of the Elliot Lake arena is well underway.
According to the city, teams are hard at work installing shoring equipment at the Rogers Arena, which will secure the structure while the foundation work is completed.
The next steps will involve additional soil tests to see if the fill underneath the structure can be stabilized in supporting the entire structure from the ground up.
No deadline for the completion of the tests has been provided.
