SPORTS – Record number of teams for Little NHL 2024

The Little Native Hockey League has a record number of teams this year.

It has become a tradition for Indigenous teams across Ontario to gather in Mississauga for the March break to take part in the week-long tournament.

Organizers say there is a record-break 246 teams registered for the 50th Anniversary tournament.

Tykes to 18-year-olds take part in the popular event, which will be spread out over five days at dozens of rinks throughout the city.
