The Soo Eagles defeated the Elliot Lake Viking 10-5 on Friday in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League matchup at Pullar Stadium.
The Greater Sudbury Cubs defeated the Espanola Paper Kings with a 5-3 in a match-up held at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex on Friday.
The Kings came back on Saturday to upend the Soo Eagles 6-4 at Pullar Stadium.
The Blind River Beavers stormed back from an early three-goal deficit to rally past the Soo Thunderbirds 5-3 at the Blind River Community Centre, also held Saturday night.
