Local Northern Ontario Junior hockey teams were busy this weekend with multiple games
The Blind River Beavers lost out 2-1 against the Powassan Voodoos on Friday night but came back with a big win on Saturday with a shutout, 8-0, against the French River Rapids.
The Espanola Paper Kings also lost out, 3-2, against the Soo Eagles on Saturday, but rallied on Sunday winning against the French River Rapids, 6-5, on Sunday.
And the Elliot Lake Vikings lost all three games, 5-3, against the Hearst Lumberjacks on Friday, and the Iroquois Falls Storm 4-3 in overtime Saturday, and 6-4 against the Kirkland Lake Gold Miners on Sunday.
