Police say a 91 year old woman who was hit at the intersection of Barber and Centre streets yesterday has succumbed to her injuries. It happened at 8:48am. Patsy Piche of Espanola was hit by a tractor trailer while she was trying to cross the road. She was transported to the Espanola Regional Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police are still investigating the accident; however, charges are not expected at this time.
