A new memorial board will be featured at a park in Elliot Lake to honoured the service of deceased Lions Club members.
Elliot Lake Lions Club spokesperson Susan Kerr says members and supporters of the club met last Wednesday to dedicate a memory board to honour deceased members and their dedication to Lionism.
She says the unveiling took place in Lions Park located next to the Collins Hall.
Kerr adds the board was made possible thanks to a donation from Rona Home Builders and the work of fellow Lion Marc Lamoreaux.
She says the board will also feature contact information for potential new members, updated information and local events overseen by the club.
