Hydro One continues wood pole replacement in Elliot Lake area

Hydro One will be carrying out some wood pole replacement through the summer in Elliot Lake.

The utility states existing 115 kV transmission line towers will be replaced on provincially owned right-of-ways lands and easement right-of-ways lands.

The utility says wood poles and associated apparatus will be replaced with employees blocking areas temporarily while the work is being carried out, which could mean some delays for motorists travelling in the area.

Any damages to personal property as a direct result of the work will be repaired and or replaced if required, and area residents should be aware there could be unscheduled outages during the reconstruction period.
