A Blind River citizen has started a petition and is using social media to express his concerns about council wanting to turn a playground into a green space.
Ben Wiesner says he has concerns about council wanting to remove the playground in the Pronto West subdivision and turn it into green space adding there is enough green space.
He says a petition has been dropped off at the municipal office.
He is also encouraging citizens to go to the town’s website at blindriver.ca concerns and complaints page to express their opinion.
The item of concern could be brought up at the council meeting next Monday although the agenda has not been released.
