Schools are reopen

Rainbow Secondary School students are back to school today. Sudbury, Espanola, and Manitoulin students will all be back as the Ontario Labour Relations Board declared the strike illegal. The announcement was made late Tuesday, and teachers will be off the picket lines and back in the classrooms Wednesday morning.

School Board Chair Doreen Dewar says they are pleased with the ruling, and they look forward to welcoming their students and teachers back to class. Around 700 students were affected by the strike at Espanola High and Manitoulin Secondary.
