Early estimates put the amount raised during Espanola’s Boogie Rush for Special Olympics at up to $30,000. The race attracted hundreds of participants in three categories. The single one kilometre race was won by McKenna Perlin while Riley Nadeau took the 5.5 K race. In the team event, the 5.5 kilometre race was won by Ben Haner and David Scott also known as the Mindemoya Warriors.
