Sudbury mining company fined for unsafe working environments

A Sudbury area mining company is being fined almost $90, 000.

F-N-X Mining knew their backfill procedure was dangerous, but they didn’t make any changes until after this incident.

The company pled guilty to two charges under health and safety regulations, and mining regulations.
