Street names to be changed in Blind River

The Town of Blind River will be holding a public Town Meeting for changes being made to street or road names within the Municipality.

The reason for the name changes is to eliminate duplication or similar sounding street or road names.

These changes will streamline the 911 Emergency Process by avoiding confusion on the part of Emergency Services and reduce dispatch response time. Any public comments, concerns or objections are to be submitted by no later than April 30th.

The street and road changes will come into effect on June 1 of this year.

The Open Public Meeting will take place this coming Monday March 23rd at 6.30pm in the Council Chambers of Blind River.
