The Espanola Commuter Cycle Plan will be wheeled out in town today.
Espanola EDO, Cheryl Kennelly says community engagement for the Wheels Out for Bike Month is at the crux of the new Espanola’s Commuter Cycle Plan.
Bike month kicks off in Espanola with a public bike tour today, June 1st at 1pm and 6pm with the consulting team from Share the Road Cycling Coalition & Liem Strategic Integration.
Participants then can share their views about cycling in Espanola.
Kennelly adds Oraclepoll will also carry out a telephone survey starting today to garner community input for the plan.
The public is also invited to participate in an online survey at espanola.ca .
The month will wrap up on June 27th with a Stakeholder Consultation Workshop and a Community Consultation Session.
