A fundraiser for an Espanola youngster and his family was a big success.
The Beer Store in Espanola hosted a barbecue and bottle drive on Saturday in partnership with Team Blake.
Team Blake is a group of volunteers who are assisting nine-year-old Blake Bond’s family.
While Blake is prepping for his bone marrow transplant set for June 1st, his aunt Taryn Bond, says the funds will help offset the costs for his mother to stay in Toronto for the next six months.

Taryn says the drive raised $2,849 and the barbecue another $755.
The results of the Lobsterfest, another event held on Saturday, will be released in the near future.
