Spruce Beach in Elliot Lake is closed until further notice.
In the press release, the city states it is closing the beach as a precaution.
It also states the City’s Public Works Department is repairing a sanitary line in the area and will re-open the beach once water samples have returned showing no signs of bacteria.
No time line was given for how long it would be closed.
