Miss Espanola, Danyka Sabourin will represent Northern Ontario at a national competition.
Sabourin competed at Miss North Ontario Canada and placed in the top five.
She has also won the right to compete at the national level.
The national competition for Miss World® Canada 2018 will be held in Toronto August 12th.

She was also acknowledged for being one of the top five fundraisers for the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer.
Two other competitors from the local area, Miss Manitoulin Island Megan Miser and Miss Algoma Kelsey Rankin, also took part in the competition held in Sudbury this past weekend.
