Three local contestants competing to represent Northern Ontario

The local area is well represented at this year’s Miss North Ontario 2018.

Miss Espanola Danaka Sabourin, Miss Manitoulin Island Megan Miser and Miss Algoma Kelsey Rankin are three of 31 delegates competing at the Miss North Ontario Regional Canada competition this weekend.

The preliminary competition starts today with the gala at Sudbury Auditorium.

Last year’s winner, Emma Morrison, will be handing over her crown on Saturday night. Representing Chapleau, went on to win the Miss Teen Canada 2017 title.
