Delegates from several Catholic educational institutions from France are in Sudbury this week to share strategies and ideas with staff from the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.
This visit is part a partnership agreement between six French language Catholic school boards in Ontario and two French Diocesan educational institutions, that will be signed tomorrow.
The board’s director of education, Lyse-Anne Papineau says the visit will allow the board to formalize a partnership agreement, which will strengthen French language Catholic education in Ontario and in France through exchanges and the sharing of expertise.
The delegation is also visiting several schools including Jeunesse Nord in Blind River.
