The City of Elliot Lake has yet another new councillor.
Sandy Finamore was sworn in Monday night, the third to join council’s ranks within the last six months.
Finamore has past experience and is well known in the Elliot Lake area for her volunteerism.
She replaces Councillor Connie Nykyforak who resigned last month.

The resignations of Nykyforak, Scot Reinhardt and Candance Martin follow two investigations by the city’s integrity commissioner who found the three had overstepped their bounds.
The three have not made any public comments in regards to their resignations.
