Espanola council has received the final report that will focus on recreational development in town for the next ten years.
The Espanola Parks and Recreation Strategic Master Plan is complete.
The plan provides a comprehensive and sustainable multi-year framework of short (1-3 years), medium (4-6 years) and longer-term (7+ years) priorities of the development and enhancement of sport and recreation.
It is the first of its kind for the municipality.
It is designed to guide council and municipal decision-makers in addressing priorities for planning and investment in recreation.
Espanola council is expected to give it final reading tonight.
