NDP take Fedeli to task over rock and swamp comment

He quickly corrected himself, but that hasn’t stopped the Northern NDP members from criticizing a comment by Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli.  During an exchange in the Legislature, Fedeli said when you fly over Northern Ontario you see rock or swamp.  Fedeli quickly changed the swamp reference to lots of lakes and wetlands.  The correction didn’t stop the NDP from criticizing the Tory MPP.  John Vanthof of Temiskaming-Cochrane says maybe one only sees rock and swamp in Nipissing and North Bay but as a life-long farmer, Vanthof says the north has a lot of opportunities that can be exploited.
