Police in Sault Ste. Marie have made their biggest ever drug bust. Police have seized large amounts of cocaine, heroin, crystal meth and other drugs worth well over $250,000. Police also seized two guns and more than 200 bullets as well as more than $20,000. A 28-year-old man and 33-year-old woman face many weapons and drug related charges including numerous counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
Three other people were also charged with trafficking offenses. With the bust, police believe they’ve made a huge dent in the drug trade in their city.
