A fundraising barbecue for the first family of refugees to arrive in Elliot Lake is happening this weekend. Two parents and three girls from Syria are now living in Elliot Lake, and are now integrating into the community while learning English.
The BBQ is happening on Saturday in the parking lot of the Soo Mill Buildall.
