With the Rio Olympics just around the corner, one name area residents will watch is Korey Jarvis, formerly of Elliot Lake. The young man wrestles for Canada and qualified for Rio this past March.
Jarvis now lives and works in Guelph. He’s represented Canada at international wrestling events since 2007.
Jarvis is a product of the Elliot Lake Gladiators Wresting Club which he was a member of when he was a student at Elliot Lake Secondary.
