Hospitals across the Northeast region had the regional electronic medical records (EMR) system fully restored following a temporary disruption late last week.
According to the release, the outage was resolved late Friday afternoon through the collaborative efforts of hospital teams, Meditech, and ONE HITS, the regional service provider.
The system allows healthcare professionals to gain access and manage patient records, medical histories, and treatment plans.
While the system is now back online, patients may continue to experience delays as the hospital completes data reconciliation.
The cause has not been released.
