The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League are pausing today to remember the Humboldt Broncos and the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League players lost seven years ago, April 6th, 2018.
NOJHL Commissioner, Bob Mazzuca, says the Humboldt Broncos, their family members and friends, along with the SJHL and the community of Humboldt, Sask., will always remain – Humboldt Strong.
He says the organization also salutes each of the first responders, emergency services personnel who provided their assistance, on that fateful day and who continue to do so on a daily basis.
He adds the organization reflects on that loss today and encourages everyone to consider becoming a donor in memory of the 16 people who lost their lives that day.
