An injured bobcat is now in the care of a wildlife rehabilitation centre after police received a call from a homeowner.
Manitoulin OPP Constable Berkley Parisien says last Thursday around 5:00 p.m., their office received a call from a resident stating that there was a bobcat in their garage, and they needed help removing it.
She says police went to the garage and once the animal was removed, officers noticed it was injured.
Berkley adds The Turtle Pond Wildlife Centre in Val Caron was contacted, and the bobcat was transferred into their care.
