Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory has a new member of staff taking on the position of Director of Child and Family Services.
Anna McGregor who has lived off and on her home First Nation of Wiikwemkoong, says she is continuing her commitment to local children, youth and families.
Officials say she has 25 years’ experience in social services, having worked as a child protection worker with Sudbury and Manitoulin’s Children’s Aid Society, and recently as a band representative.
She also possesses more than 15 years of experience in senior management with local family services, Noojmowin Teg and the police board.
