Seven students and a bus driver were transported to hospital after a school bus and a Commercial Motor Vehicle collided on Highway 69 yesterday morning.
Nipissing West OPP Constable Rob Lewis says emergency crews responded to the north bound lane crash shortly before 8:30 am.
He says 12 students were on the bus at the time, with five taken to hospital as a precaution.
Lewis adds two students received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, while the bus driver received serious life-threatening injuries
He says the highway was reopened around 2:30 pm and the investigation continues.
