Three people have been charged in connection to a residential fire investigation on Mississagi Bay Road in Huron Shores that occurred back on February 6th in 2023.
East Algoma Constable Bev Gauthier says fire and police services were called out to the fire at 9 pm that morning to investigate what they deemed a suspicious fire.
She says the remains of 51-year-old Dwayne Kozuch were recovered in the residence.
Gauthier says on January 9th, OPP arrested three individuals, a 28-year-old man and a 28-year old woman, both from Blind River, and charged them with first degree murder, arson – disregard for human life and more. The third accused, a 42-year-old woman from Blind River, was also charged with accessory after the fact to murder, arson and more.
The three have all been remanded into police custody.
