There is a power outage planned by Hydro One for Manitoulin Island, Killarney and Whitefish River First Nation next week
According to the release, the utility must shut down the power line that provides electricity to the Manitoulin supply to carry out a high priority hot spot repair on the loop on Highway Six.
Hydro One says all affected customers, around 11,000, have been contacted.
The power will be out from two am to six am next Friday, December 20th.
