Two people were brought to the hospital after two separate incidents of dog attacksĀ at a residence on Neebish Road in Laird Township, west of Blind River.
OPP Constable Bev Gauthier says last Saturday, officers and Algoma Paramedic Services were on the scene where there were two victims of multiple dog bite wounds.
She says both victims were attacked as they were riding their bikes on the road. They were brought to the hospital in Richardās landing for medical treatment.
Gauthier says the dog owner, a 40-year-old man from Laird Township was charged with failing to prevent a dog attack.
He is to appear in Sault Ste. Marie court July 3rd.
Gauthier adds the investigation is continuing with the assistance of Algoma Public Health which is responsible for quarantining the dogs.
