The NDP Member of Parliament for Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing believes more could be done to help Canadians pay their bills.
Carol Hughes says more affordable houses need to be built along with more investments in cooperative housing and removing the GST from all home heating. Â
She adds there are many examples of government working together with opposition to bring in programs such as universal healthcare, and employment insurance.
