Espanola’s newest school has reintroduced gymnastics to its programming and look forward to competing in the future.
This year, the Northern Ontario secondary school gymnastics championships took place at GymZone in Sudbury and future gymnasts from École secondaire catholique La Renaissance in Espanola were in the audience to get a firsthand look at the sport and its various disciplines.
Those young athletes expect to begin their training in this discipline this fall with the aim of representing their school at regional competitions in 2024.
