The Espanola Minor Baseball Association had perfect weather to wind up their season on Saturday at the Queensway Ballfields. Over 160 youngsters ranging in age from four to 16 years of age took part in the one day tournament, which finishes off a six-week regular season. T-ball players all receive gold medals, the rest of the divisions, gold, silver and bronze depending on their final finish in the round robin competition. The most popular game, the peewee bantam combined championship, is the most popular. This year, the PWB Combined team fielded by coach Duane Gamble took the gold, narrowly defeating Cora Caibaiosai, who took the silver.
