Municipalities have opened beaches throughout the Manitoulin and North Channel corridor with Public Health Sudbury & Districts carrying out testing as needed.
The Town of Espanola officially opened Clear Lake Beach yesterday and lifeguards will also be on-site throughout the month of July.
Children’s summer programs are usually in place, but with COVID-19 restrictions only being gradually lifted, many of those will not run including the beach program.
However, there are family activities available at Boogie Mountain and at the Espanola Public Library.
