A 14-year-old Espanola girl is charged with assault after getting into an altercation with a 13-year-old girl. The younger girl was walking home from school when the older teen approached her and pushed her repeatedly until some adults stepped in. Earlier in the day the same 14-year-old had told the victim she planned to beat her up. The girl wasn’t hurt in the incident.
