Elliot Lake and Blind River raised more than $14,000 with Wednesday’s Camp Day. Elliot Lake broke a previous record bringing in nearly $9,900 while Tims in Blind River raised $4,700. It was also the best ever Camp Day for the Tim Hortons in Espanola and McKerrow. Wednesday’s event raised a combined $9,500 and that’s $700 more than last year’s total. The fundraiser helps send North Shore area children and kids from Manitoulin to camp.
