For the first time in 50 years, there will be no Silver Stick hockey tournament held in Sudbury this year.
International Silver Stick commissioner John Graves confirmed they passed a motion to postpone all Canadian regional qualifying tournaments until the fall of 2021, as well as all international finals, except Port Huron AAA.
The move affects novice, atom, peewee, bantam and midget divisions.
