Every year, firefighter departments across Canada go the extra mile to help support their national cause; Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Trevor McVey, who oversees the fundraising in the local area had only words of praise for the Township of Baldwin Volunteer Firefighters who presented him with a cheque for $3,820 on Wednesday.
The money was raised through car washes and other fundraisers throughout 2019.
It will be used for ongoing research and treatment of muscular dystrophy.
