Several members of the Espanola Lions Club were on hand to make a special presentation in support of the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre.
The Lions members were on hand Monday to make a pledge to hospital foundation board chairman, Mike Dunn, for a donation of $20,000 towards a new x-ray suite retrofit and equipment upgrade.
Dunn says the club will be accessing funds from the proceeds of their Catch the Ace lottery that runs throughout the year.
Project costs are estimated at $550,000 with just over $30,000 raised so far.
