The kickoff for the 50th Anniversary celebrations of an Elliot Lake school is being considered a success.
School board communications director, Paul de la Riva, says École Catholique Georges Vanier hosted an art exhibit “Galerie d’Or,” last Friday featuring the various works of the students.
He says over 100 people took in the exhibit, the official start of anniversary celebrations slated for the school year.
