Police have charged a man in connection to a theft from over a year ago. In February 2013, the East Algoma OPP in Blind River received a complaint of a possible theft of a large amount of personal property after the sale of a commercial property in the Iron Bridge area. Officers conducted a lengthy investigation which resulted in a 49-year-old man being charged with three counts of theft over $5000.00 and three counts of fraud over $5000.00. He is schedule to appear in court in Blind River on May 1st.
