Be aware of school buses also on Highway 17, which could mean slowing down along your morning route.
Most of the resurfacing of Highway 17 is now complete between Nairn Centre and the Totten Mine turnoff.
However, some passing lanes are still closed so slow down in those areas.
Work crews are also installing guide rails along the reconstructed area and painting lines is expected to be completed soon.
