The Elliot Lake Wildcats lost two back-to-back exhibition games this weekend.
Soo Eagles goaltenders Shane Brancato and Ryan Gilmore stopped all 20 attempts to help their side shutout the Elliot Lake Wildcats 3-0 Saturday in exhibition Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League play.
Nick Grandy tallied twice to help the Cochrane Crunch defeat the Elliot Lake Wildcats 4-1 Sunday.
Regular season play kicks off this week.
