Local area roads are bare and wet.
Most of the resurfacing of Highway 17 has been completed between Nairn Centre and the Totten Mine turnoff.
However, some passing lanes are still closed so slow down in those areas.
Work crews are also installing guide rails along the reconstructed area.
Reconstruction work also continues on Highway 540 and 542 on Manitoulin Island
