Visitors to the Sable River Mouth Park in Massey will see some improvements.
The public area was flooded out this Spring followed by a clean-up in time for the summer season.
However, an inspection of the equipment showed that several were no longer serviceable.
To that end, the township has purchased six new picnic tables at a cost of just over $6,500, some of which will also have handicapped accessible features.
