A new Superintendent of Education will be heading up the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board this fall.
The board has named Christine Durocher as the new Superintendent of Education, effective August 1st.
Durocher was hired by the board in 1997, when she began her career as a teacher at Holy Angels
Learning Centre and eventually being named principal and vice-principal at different schools within the board’s jurisdiction.
Rose Burton Spohn, the Director of Education, says she welcomes Derocher to the board’s senior team and knows her experience will focus on the wellbeing of the students she will serve.
